Maria "Pinky" Dominguez, 61, of Morgan Hill, CA, entered into rest on Monday July 21, 2014 with her beloved husband of 19 years, Robert Dominguez, her son, Richard Siordia; and her daughter, Rachael Scott, by her side.

Pinky was born to late Jesse and Julia Ortega, March 02, 1953, in San Antonio, TX. She attended Andrew Hill High School in San Jose, CA. and spent most of her days in San Jose where she raised 3 children. In 2004 she relocated to Morgan Hill, CA.

Pinky enjoyed life and she devoted much of her time to family. She absolutely loved the beach and spent a lot of time on the sand. She was her happiest when she was around her family or vacationing somewhere tropical. She had a passion for music and you would often find Pinky listening to the tunes of Chris Isaak and George Strait. Most people will remember Pinky sitting around the camp fire sipping on a Coors. She was favored by many and always had a way of making you feel special. Pinky had a strong will to live; she loved life and everyone in it.

Pinky is survived by her husband, Robert Dominguez and two children: Richard Siordia of San Jose, CA; Rachael Scott of Morgan Hill, CA., two step sons: Robert Dominguez Jr. of San Jose and Johnny Dominguez of Fremont. She is also survived by four sisters, Guadalupe Guerrero, Chavela Martinez, Linda Duarte and Rosemary Atencio; three brothers, David Ortega, Danny Ortega; and Jesse Ortega. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jesse Siordia III, Deja Siordia, Rhandy Siordia, Matthew Siordia, Kaelee Scott, Seth Siordia, Violet Scott and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son; Jesse Siordia Jr. She was also preceded in death by her brother George Ortega and her sister Maggie Dominguez.

A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday July 31 at Coast Side Chapel - 645 Kelly Avenue, Half Moon Bay CA. 94019. 12:00pm noon – 8:30pm there will be an open viewing. A Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday August 01 at Our Lady of the Pillar - 400 Church Street, Half Moon Bay CA. 94019 at 10:30 a.m.
