David Edward Podwojski was born to Casimer and Adeline Podwojski in 1943. He grew up in Ohio and graduated from Benedictine High School and Baldwin Wallace College. He served four years in the United States Air Force. He remained a life-long fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.

After moving to Half Moon Bay California with his wife, Patricia, and four children, he was active in various organizations, especially the Knights of Columbus, Council #7534 of Our Lady of the Pillar Church.
David is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Michele (Skip), Lisa, Beth (Garret), Paul (Gina); three grandchildren, and his sister Judy.

A rosary will be said on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm and mass will be on Friday morning at 11:00 am. All services will be held at Our Lady of the Pillar Church, 400 Church St., Half Moon Bay, CA 94019. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Kids' N Horses (re: Ulmer Children) 2869 Esaw Street, Minden, NV 89423 or to Stanford Cancer Center (re: GI Cancer research) c/o Dr. George Poultisides, Clinic F MC 5655, 875 Wilbur Dr., Stanford, CA 94305. All donations should state in memory of David E. Podwojski
